Hosta Sum and Substance

Hosta Sum and Substance is an elegant, yet large and robust Hosta, with  heart-shaped, yellow-green leaves becoming deeply puckered when mature. Pale lilac flowers adorn the plant in mid to late summer.

Hosta Sum and Substance flowers July to August, and grows to a Max Height of 80cm, and a Max Spread of 1.2m.

It prefers partial shade, and is very hardy.

This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
