The deep Red funnel-shaped flowers have black speckles and a white throat on the upper petals. Alstroemeria are fleshy rooted herbaceous perennials forming compact clumps with umbels of showy funnel-shaped flowers in late summer. It grows to about 30cm and flowers from June to September.
This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring
