Liability In any event the extent of out liability extends to the cost of the product. Plants are subject to many external factors, soil type /climate/aftercare all playing a part in the success in establishment and growth. On our part, we will do our utmost to provide a hardened, well grown, well packed and carefully delivered product to your door.
Descriptions All descriptions and images are for guidance only, but we do want you to understand fully what to expectfrom your purchase, and we constantly update our records to keep up to date in this area. We draw upon reputable authority and our own wide personal experience in this matter, but images especially can only give a momentary snapshot in time.
Toxicity We may provide details of plant toxicity, allergy etc. where available. However we are not experts in this field, and it is the responsibility of the buyer to satisfy themselves with their own chosen authority as to the suitability for the use they put the plant material to whether human or animal.
Ordering and Pricing. Value for money is important to us. We offer a healthy well grown and well furnished plant at the price shown for the respective size given in pot top diameter, or the volume of compost in litres the pot holds. (See Plant sizes) The price is secured on payment unless the plants do not meet a saleable standard, or the crop has failed, in which case we will keep you informed and await your decision as to substitutes, or cancellation. All orders are accepted at our sole discretion but are only very rarely refused.
Payment. We currently accept most major credit and debit cards.
Dispatch and Delivery. We currently only deliver to Mainland UK. Our aim is to dispatch orders within 3 to 5 working days by next day courier. As the business has high seasonal demand this may extend to 7 to 10 days at peak season. Next day delivery to outlying areas (eg Scotland) can not always be maintained.
Grievances. We hope that you will never require assistance in this area, but problems will crop up from time to time, and we hope to attend quickly and fairly. If you are unhappy with any product please contact us immediately by email. Tell us about your problem. Take photos of the product on arrival. This helps us to understand if there is something we can put right in the future.
Returns. Please inform us by email if you intend to return the product to us within 7 days. Send the product back within 14 days. When we receive your goods we will issue an immediate refund. The purchase price of your goods only will be refunded. (Sorry we are unable to refund any delivery charges).
Couriers. Whilst couriers will have their own terms and conditions, we will take a particular interest in their service and performance, and assist as best we can with any problems. As plants are perishable and deteriorate from lack of light, overheating, extreme cold etc. we use a next day service where ever possible. It is part of ensuring you get a delivery as fresh as when it leaves the nursery. We only deliver to mainland UK. Next day deliveries to outlying areas (eg Scotland) can not always be maintained.
